Anna is really being selfish by wanting to sue her parents.What if it were the other way around? If Anna was dying, and Kate didn't want to save her life by being a donor, how would Anna feel then, that her own sister would be willing to just let her die. Kate is her sister, and if she really claims to love her sister, she wouldn't be suing her parents for medical emancipation. I also don't like Campbell for agreeing to help Anna just so he can boost his career. I feel bad for Jesse though, because he is the outcast of the family and no one seems to even care about anything he does. He's going to eventually turn into a a druggie or something bad, because of the fact that no one even cares about anything he does.

Obviously Jesse is lighting places like the warehouse on fire on purpose because he wants attention. His father is a firefighter and knows that he'll be there to take care of his mess. He even compares himself to the abandoned warehouse. Their both hollow and forgotten by almost everyone. It even seems like Jesse wants to get into trouble because he leaves his initials before he burns it up. Sara almost dissapoints me because she's not a very good mother. Sure Kate's sick and she needs attention, but not o much attention that she has to ignore the rest of her kids completely. For example when she was reminiscing back to when she was in a salon with other pregnant women, she realizes that Anna's about to be born but hasn't even considered that she's going to have another child whom she will have to love and care for and even give a name to. She merely sees Anna as some thing that will keep Kate from dying.

Brian became a firefighter to save lives. But ironically the one persons life he really wants to save is dying and there's nothing he can do about it. It's also ironic how Julia is supposed to speaking on behalf of what she thinks is best for Anna, when she's as lost as Anna is. Julia claims that she will never let Campbell hurt her again, but she still gets close to him, and he constantly lets her down by ignoring her, or by not taking anything seriously.
Once again Sara puts Kate before everything. Jesse just wanted to get new cleats after he went to the orthodontist but Sara puts Kate's problems first again and tells him that his orthodontist appointment is not as important as Kate's sickness when Kate was playing outside with Anna, climbing trees, looking completely healthy. This in turn causes Jesse to use a fork to pry his braces off because e knows that he probably will never go to the orthodontist because he'll never be important enough to care about. Sara needs to learn how to let go. With Hercules for example, she goes so far as to calling a Professor who studies tide pools, when making calls to Petco, and three different vets. The Professor miraculously does help to revive Hercules again, but Sara really needs to let go of things she loves. Everyone knows that one day Kate is going to die and she needs to accept that.

For example he helps get Jesse out of jail after he steals Judge Newbell's car.I believe he does this because he is a nice guy and doesn't only see Anna solely as his client. Sara is once again putting Kate before everyone else. As Sara reminisces about Anna donating her bone marrow, she remembers not even thinking to reward Anna for being brave enough to donate her marrow. Brian is the one to give Anna a necklace to make her feel appreciated. Maybe this is part of the reason why Brian and Sara no longer seem to have anything in common, causing their marriage to slowly but surely fall apart.

I've change my mind.Campbell is not a very nice person at all. I hate the fact that once again he's abandoned Julia, after she started to trust him again. But he does make very good points in court regarding Anna's case. He asks the Doctor to put himself in Anna's shoes and asks him if he would give up his Porsche to save Judge Desalvo's life. Obviously he wouldn't want to do that but he would out of the kindness of his heart. This is exactly how Anna feels. She doesn't want to be forced to donate parts of herself to Kate; she wants to do it because she wants to. I think that it's so cute that Kate has a boyfriend. Her and Taylor are perfect for each other. Kate needs someone like Taylor in her life to make her feel like a normal girl.

I think that this trial is actually bringing the Fitzgerald family together. Sara is slowly realizing that she can't continue putting Kate before everyone else. She realizes that Anna is right and that she shouldn't be forced to donate parts of her to Kate. She even starts to appreciate everyone more now. Brian and Sara's relationship also got stronger; they are no longer strangers to each other anymore.
We now know why Campbell takes Judge with him everywhere he goes. He's a seizure dog. Unfortunately everyone witnesses this first hand because Campbell doesn't listen to Judge's warning to get out of the courtroom. And instead of running away from him like he did to her, Julia embraces Campbell and makes him finally understand what true love is.
